Marks vs Percentile

Marks: Marks refer to the actual score or points obtained by a student in a test or exam. For example, if a student scores 80 out of 100 marks in an exam, their marks are 80.

Percentile: Percentile indicates the relative position of a student's marks compared to the marks of other students who took the same exam. It is expressed as a percentage. For instance, if a student's marks place them in the 90th percentile, it means their marks are higher than the marks of 90% of the other students who took the exam.
