End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is a method of secure communication that ensures only the communicating users can read the messages. In E2EE, the data is encrypted on the sender’s device and only decrypted on the recipient’s device. This means that even if the data is intercepted while being transmitted, it remains unreadable to anyone except the intended recipient. Think of it as sending a sealed, private letter that only the recipient can open and read.
